Bad service naver going back dislike the stupid manager

Food:

The service was mediocre, the food was phenomenal...however the experience was overall atrocious, due to the lack of chicken in the 3-cheese chicken penne pasta, the word chicken is plainly stated in the menu description. The second part of this is the fact that my sour cream had a hair in it, not appetizing to say the least. Incredibly disappointing because Applebee's is one of mine and my wife's favorite establishments. Improve your quality control and we will possibly return to this particular establishment.

Honestly, the food wasn't bad. The service on the other hand was horrible. The server "Leslie" was rude & disrespectful. We asked to see the Manager, "Thomas" and he was almost as bad. Neither one of them apologized or anything. The only thing Thomas said was he would look into to, and walked off, never to be heard from again. We eat out about 7-8 times a month at various places, this was by far the worst service I can ever recall !!

Tonight I took my wife to Applebee's to use a gift card we had. I used the internet to find the restaurant locations. I couldn't help viewing the ratings and comments. The negative comments put a damper on my expectations for the evening. At the end of our meal I asked our waitress to have the manager talk to me. I explained to him that we were pleasantly greeted at the door and led to a table as we requested. A waitress came to our table within seconds and inquired about drink orders. I asked her to explain Applebee's happy hour and she patiently did so. Adult beverages ordered and delivered within a short time. Drinks were strong and tasted correct. Our meal order was taken when the drinks were delivered. In about 10 minutes the food was served. Hot, fresh, and very good. I told the manager that I usually only leave 15% tip if the service is good, tonight I left better than 20%. In short, because I was expecting a less than stellar experience, I had to tell someone that my visit went beyond good. People, don't believe all the negative comments. Should you experience less then good service or food you should talk to the managers. I am one totally pleased customer of this Applebee's restaurant. The manager, his chefs and his crew should take a bow before applause.

Some of the best service I have had in a very long time. I ordered a asian burger and it was not made right Brenda the manager came and fixed it right away. Everyone is happy helpful and the food was great and a clean. I suggest that everyone come here for dinner. Thanks again
