Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar, Columbus, Ohio Restaurant Details

Applebees is almost my everyday work lunch meal. Had a problem one time with the location of my order and I got a gift card for it :)

Me and my wife used to frequent this Applebee's location. On the night of December 18 2015we were embarrassed by the General manager Pete and told our Applebee's gift card had insufficient funds to complete our transaction. I advised the manager that we just purchased the gift card 1 hour earlier at the neighborhood Kroger. We paid for the meal using our debit card and left the restaurant, thinking Kroger messed up loading the gift card and we will call them back in the morning. I called the phone number on the back of the gift card the next day and was advised the card was loaded correctly and was used at the Polaris location Applebee's and even told us what time and ticket number. Apparently the waiter processed our gift card on another tables bill and nobody at the restaurant wants to take responsibility for it. Not even the management. They have acknowledge over the phone they're mistake but refuse to do anything to compensate me for paying for my dinner twice that night. We had to take the problem up the corporate ladder at Applebee's to get any satisfaction, when this problem could have been handled locally. We will never eat at this Applebee's location ever again.

I ordered the triple chocolate melt down to go and when I got there 10 minutes after I ordered it, they took another 15 minutes to get it out to me then I took it out to the car took a bite and it was freezing cold and there was no melted chocolate in the center like it was supposed to have. Not happy at all

I did not expect five star service, but this time it was ridiculous. They should improve the system. First, have the hostage bring the silverware to the table when the sit down people. Second, if appetizer is purchased, make sure the plates are brought before the appetizer. Lastly, bring all food together.

2:30 today.... not busy at this time. ordered unlimited soup and salad and it was terrible service.slow and the soup was cold!! we were there an hour 15 min!! had to ask someone for our waiter 2 times!! finally got mad and had to ask for the check and left. no, im sorry, didn't comp my meal... all you can eat my butt!!! maybe if you like cold food and had 3 hrs to kill!! even the people behind us complained about cold food and how slow our waiter was!!!! does corporate even read these!!?? that's my next call when I post this!!!! I have read several post on here with same issue.. corporate must not read these!!will NEVER return.
