Applebee's, Phoenix, Arizona Restaurant Details

Food:

I would rate it zero stars. We spent 2 hours there. My husband and I got our salads, then then about 10 min later they brought only one of my children's entrees. It took 4 min to get the other one, and another 10-15 min to get our entrees. The food was ok, but not worth the price at all. It took a total of 25 min to get our check, pay, and get change. For the first time we tipped less than 20%. Terrible service and we will not be back.

My boyfriend and I come here often and understand it is not a 5 star restaurant but the experience that we had last night was terrible. It took 10 minutes for someone to come and seat us. We asked for a booth and we were told there were none and that the open booth we saw "had ants" Once we sat at the table it smelled like dirty feet, I sprayed some of my perfume and went along for the night assuming someone in the restaurant just smelled. We ordered drinks, were not carded and once the drinks came we put our order in for two appetizers and a 7 oz sirloin. After seeing a couple who came in much after us receive their dinner we became curious about the appetizers and it had been about 30-45 minutes. We asked Concetta the waitress what was taking so long and she stated "she thought she wanted the appetizers to come out with the meal so it was sitting while the steak was cooked" about 10 minutes later our food came out and it was cold to the touch so we sent it back. We paid for the drinks and still tipped the waitress 15% even after she did not try to resolve the issue or make us feel like we would ever want to come back. She was noticeably upset that we sent our food back and left and we were unable to speak to a manager. We went to the first open dive bar we could find in Phoenix and had an amazing experience in comparison to Applebee's. The food was ordered, brought out within 15 minutes and so hot that we had to wait for it to cool down. Unfortunately we will not be back to this Applebee's and hope this one Revamps because it is nice to have it open so late and typically we have had a pretty good experience.

HORRIBLE host and manager!!! I've given this location multiple chances and they disappoint every single time. If I could give them some negative stars, I would. Will never go back and wouldn't recommend to even my worst enemy.

HORRIBLE. Food was great but the staff was not....The host, Invited us in but offered the bar due to faster service, right there is a no no, you do not tell them one side or one section is faster service. I really wanted a booth but I went with the bar which I regret. Don one of the other waitress's could not keep her mouth shut about her personal life on the floor. I was a server for 8 years and I know a thing or two about customer service. She also kept touching other waitress's hair and washed hands after handing other customers drinks. It was disgusting. There was about 4 other female waitress's there that talked about their personal life's loud as well but Don stood out. KEEP THAT STUFF AT HOME. I come out to enjoy MY friends or family not YOURS. We sat at the bar which was really dirty and slow service for only 5 people sitting at the bar in which the bar tender I believe her name is Tania also just talked and talked about getting one of the other girls a boyfriend. Hope the staff can get it together because the food is great!

I got the bacon burger and could not have been more disappointed. The burger was much smaller than I expected. And the service was very poor. At lest when you order a burger at chilies it's a good size burger, and for $11 bucks I felt ripped off.
