04/14/2016 6:57 pmWe stopped at this location last night, 4/13/2016. There is never anyone at the door to greet you and seat you right away. Someone working finally saw us standing there and got up for a booth they were sitting at and come to seat us. I didn't know staff could sit down on the job? Took 10 minutes for anyone to come to our table and ask us what we wanted for drinks. We weren't going to let them leave without ordering first since we didn't know how long it would be before anyone came back. My mom got food poisoning from her Grilled Oriental Chicken Salad. The chicken was so chewy, something was off. She chose not to eat the Chicken and just have the salad, but I guess the few pieces she did have was enough to get her sick. She's paying for it now today, she's been vomiting all last night, this morning and this afternoon. She can barely get out of bed. Avoid this place! Bad service and Bad food! |

I must say this is the worst applebee's I have ate at with me being a commercial truck diver on vacation me and my wife went there for few drinks and food the bartender and i love applebee's all over the road....Mary really is a joke she definitely can't do her job at all as a bartender understand ppl have bad nights but when you gotta deal with ppl on vacation day in day out you have to be on your A game she needs to be a waitress. but I must say the guy John is a great bartender,helpful,cheerful,makes wonderful drinks there food was decent...don't think I will be back until they get better with costumer service!!! |

03/17/2016 2:12 amMy daughter and I were there for spring break last week we ate there twice, because it's my daughters favorite! The first night we waited 12 m for our waitress or anyone to bring us water or notice we were there! Finally she came and our dinner was good. Our last night in Gatlinburg we went back and again waited and waited for someone to wait on us.. Finally our waiter came, when our food arrived I noticed SOMETHING sticking out of my chicken and when I pulled it out it was a piece of WIRE! The waiter took it back and said" it's probably just something from the grill...WHAT!!! Then the Mgr came over and said its JUST a piece of the wire brush they clean the grill with! ( Which was 2 inches long!) "She explained, will will make you a new dish and of course compensate you as well!" I thought for sure they would have taken my dinner off the bill, My daughter paid the bill and when I asked her if they took my dinner off she said no they took the SPRITE OFF THE BILL!! |

02/29/2016 9:17 pmSo we get there and it was a short wait time of 15 minutes which is good for the Gatlinburg area on a Saturday night. I go to use the restroom while we wait only to look around and notice several empty tables no one was using? I walked around and counted upwards 10 free tables!!! Everybody waiting could be seated at a table basically!!!Then wanted to order ribs and wife wanted chesseburger rolls or something and the waitress came back 5 minutes later and said they were out of both!!!!! |

12/22/2015 1:39 am12/21/15 I am a local who enjoyed Applebee's once or twice each month over several years. However,during the past 6/8 months, I have found the service extremely poor and the food less in quality than in the past. Today, my wife and I went in and waited for about 5 minutes (along with 17 other people) to get a seat. No one was at the seating podium. After some time, I confronted the manager " Lori Taylor" and ask why all of these people were waiting. Her reply was "she will be there in a minute". No real concern that 17 people were waiting to be seated. There were tables and booths available the whole time we were waiting. Apparently the young lady who was seating people was cleaning tables and other things rather than taking care of business. My wife and I left along with 4 other people after our long wait. If they can't keep enough help to run the business, then close it rather than destroy the reputation of Applebee's. Poor Management and employees who do not care are a bad image for Applebee's patrons.. |
