Applebee's, Tucson, Arizona Restaurant Details

Food:

Decent atmosphere and friendly staff. Recommendations were on point and our server was one of the easiest and friendliest girls I've ever dealt with in a sit down place. Only downsides were the fees for the tableside tablet and the appetizer size, but those are very minor. Definitely coming back for 6.99 Burger Mondays.

Food:

Usually, the only reason I'll go to Applebee's is if a distant relative thought it'd be a nice choice for a gift card (hint to any family reading, Fleming's/Bloomin' Brands gift cards are the way to go for national chains).

That said, this location is just like any other, with fees to engage in the tableside tablet, jukebox, etc. - lunch combos are hardly a bargain, and the recent foray into Asian inspired entries is a complete miss in my book.

Speed and friendliness of service can definitely use a boost here.

Food:

The food is better than we remembered. Our kids are both vey young so we ordered one kids meal for them to share. The waitress brought out an extra plate without even being asked. Our drinks were kept full and we were checked on by not only our friendly waitress but also an equally friendly manager. The one item I was not fond of was quickly replaced by not 1 but TWO alternates. This is the best service I have had in Tucson in a long time (and perhaps ever for the price). The food was hot and exactly as ordered, and even the kids pretty much cleared their plates. We will definitely be back again!

Food:

Went there under protest as I had been once before and saying it was fair is being generous.

I had a burger this time, should have been a safe bet. Two voices for doneness, pink and no pink.

You could have resolved my shoes with the no pink that came out, dry and tough and tasteless.

The waiter should look for another line of work, everything we asked, like more onion, was dealt with a scowl and then literally tossed on the table as he passed by. Never checked on us, never offered to refill my soda, just plain a rude dude.

I'll, never, NEVER darken their doorway again and would say the same to anybody that asked.

Go to Chili's if you want that type of place, the food is way better and the wait staff obviously coached to be overly polite.

Food:

By far the most energetic music selection. This is most likely the best Applebee's I've ever been to. We only ordered appetizers and drinks. Music was at a good volume and the servers were nice. I have been to multiple Applebee's in about 5 different states, from California to Michigan. Sweetness.
