Applebee's, Waterville, Maine Restaurant Details

Food:

I've been getting three to four salads a week in Waterville, Maine despite the fact that is had my full daily allowance of carbs and twice the fat of a 2000 calorie diet and usually get Alex at curb side to go.It's ten dollars and twenty cents. I always give him fifteen and get back two dollars leaving him a good tip just to walk to my car. Tonight he takes my fifteen dollars and keeps it all. Says he will get my change and as hr walks off says thank you when he is too far away type o hear me. Lost. My business, my wife's as well seeing how i'm always paying for it.
Completely unsatisfied. ....

I come here all the time! The food is delicious, consistently, but some of the wait staff can be grumpy and rude.

I went in with my girl the first time the food was Exoensive but was goodish the chicken wanton tacos were to die for but my fries were raw n and half the salt shaker dumped on them I gagged when I put one in my mouth they were. Hands down the worst fries I've ever had, ....a week later I order three orders of the chicken wanton tacos cause they were the only good, thing the last time to go they were totally different n half cooked shells they were gross I was wicked disappointed don't eat here till they get better cooks......obviously they hire any inexperienced person off the street

Wife & I went to Applebee's for dinner. She had haddock with butter and lemon, she also received a large fish bone. Wife was not happy with the way the fish was cooked and the lemon saturated the butter with a bitter flavor. I had steak & veggies and fries. The steak was dry like the moisture was pressed out of it and had a very bad burnt taste. The veggies were not cooked all the way and were somewhat gritty tasting. Seriously big disappointment after reading the reviews on here. We might try it again, but not anytime soon.

I was here for my girlfriend's birthday, we both ordered a drink that they had on the menu but for some reason didn't have all the ingredients. They actually went across the parking lot to the grocery store and purchased the things they were missing and made our drinks. The food was very good for a chain restaurant and the service was awesome. The over all experiance was positive and I would definitely return.
