Loved the hot chocolate here! When I came in on Sunday, there was a live jazz band playing which was quite good. I settled into a couch and finished my book. Really cool atmosphere, and while I didn't have a chance to try any of the food, the menu was quite varied.

A year ago I would have given 4 stars. The tea and crystal selection is lovely and the coffee is good. But lately the service has been atrocious in the morning. Only one man works and he does not appear to give one shit. I have waited 30 minutes for service from him and only received it once bringing it to his attention. The last 3 times my husband and I have been in we have left because we were not acknowledged. He saw us walk in each time. If he was busy I would be more forgiving but he has been on his phone leaning against the counter each time we have been in and not gotten service. I am likely to assume he is racist or simply does not like us since others seem to get served. We can now only frequent this cafe in the afternoon, but it used to be a lovely breakfast treat. It really is a bummer since Clifton really doesn't have much else going for it.

I ventured into the cafe for the first time on 1/7/15. It was bitter cold outside and I was coming off a 4 month journey of sickness and medicines. I was greeted immediately and explained the kind of tea I was looking for. She suggested a pot of specialized herbs and tea that would address my sore throat, aches and general malaise of which I did not speak of. It was if she read my spirit and knew exactly what I needed. I was not disappointed and my body and spirit was rejuvenated immediately. It was worth the cost of the pot of tea and healed me in ways nothing else had. The atmosphere was gentle but with energy, the patrons all seemed pleased as I was, and I plan on making it a regular stop.

Very nice staff! I have enjoyed everyone of my experiences there, I love the gift section of this cozy little shop. They also have fresh and very well priced all-natural herbs of all sorts!
