Great coffee and and greater atmosphere. A great go-to for posting up with a laptop. Unlike Speckled Ax's small intimate setting, Arabica's size gives you plenty of seating options, including a bar made of a large rustic slab of wood.

Super cute cafe and wonderful banana nut bread, but I was disappointed in the service. The Barista seemed like she was scared to talk to me and didn't seem to know coffee. I was excited to try a special coffee to them but she kept pointing me to the drip brew. Blah. Asked about a pour over and she again pointed me to drip brew. Really? I should've left but the atmosphere is great. Maybe if I had a different Batista that knew coffee? Drip brew was nothing special. Glad I tried it out at least.

best coffee in Portland, Maine! I used to hang out here and read hipster magazines and try to hit on straight guys. boy how times changed! now I'm living in Portland, Oregon and going to coffee shops and hitting on straight guys. great location and space. 80% of the staff are sexy cool people, they might not be the nicest people in the world, but they're pretty nice, and they can make a great all foam machiatto

Got me hooked on Vanilla moo. I can't get enough of it! Not only is it a nice relaxing place with a great atmosphere but all of the staff is great!

Wow. Just wow. Filthy countertops. Rude counter help. Walked in with my daughter for a quick coffee. Ignored for several minutes as female server chatted with male server. Once my order was taken (crappy stale coffee too.) I said "Thank you" and again was ignored by counter help. Said thank you again and got a sarcastic, snarky "You are welcome." Complete with eye roll.
Shop local? Not with crappy coffee, crappy service and filthy establishments like Arabica Coffee house.
