Ok, I'll put it like this...you go in once, your hooked. You go in a few times, and you'll definitely fall into the trap of ordering your signature "go-to"s. But then, when you finally think you're ready to give their kebab, shawarma or falafel a break, just pop in for what you think is a plain-jane ham & cheese sandwich, and see if you're still not floored! To say 'simply authentic' doesn't do it justice. It's the In-n-Out of Middle Eastern/Lebanese in flavor, in satisfaction and in price-point.

I love this place! Their Falafel and Shawerma sandwiches are the best in the USA. They are consistently great.

Falafel Arax has been consistently good with the quality and flavor of their food. I don't eat there for their ambiance, and most often I get the food to go. Like many family operated small eateries, the attraction is Not the venue, but it Is the food.

Order the felafel sandwich or the chicken garlic. Both are among the best I have had, and I have had them in many eateries in the U.S., Canada, Holland, Lebanon, and beyond. Enjoy!

the falafel is somehow dry and greasy at the same time. the staff is lazy and rude. the atmosphere is that of a grimy gas station stuck in a barren strip mall. you can easily find better food elsewhere, as well as better service and decor. add that to a limited menu (they don't even have baba ghanoush) and it's pretty much the perfect storm of undesirable traits to avoid in a food service establishment.
