Horrible service! The kitchen is fast and efficient, but the servers and waitresses are inattentive and more interested in hanging out with each other and eating at the bar. They brought out the wrong food twice and at different times. We never got refills of tea or water. We never got a salad we ordered. After voicing our complaint we got offered a free milkshake or dessert.
I'm pretty sure they are the owners family and are allowed to ignore customers and give horrible service
I took a family member here while visiting my hometown of Memphis. I was embarrassed to have suggested the Arcade, and apologized to my family member after we left.

We were told the wait was 20 minutes. We waited over 30 minutes. We were sat at a small booth. The booth must have been an original from 1919. The floor was dirty. Our server only stop by the table 3 times. Once to take our order. The second time she walked by and said " Everything alright "? Before I could ask for more tea , she was gone. The third time was to drop off the check. She just threw it on the table as she walked by. The food..... They call it the Rainmaker because you cry when you see how small the sandwich is. The Burger was served warm , not hot , with warm lettuce , tomato , onion ,and pickle. I asked for a side of Mayo and got one small packet of mayo . The fries were the standard frozen fries that were greasy and were warm. We waited upfront to pay for a while because the people behind the counter were to busy playing with their phone and talking to other people. It was my first and last time to this place.

This was my first visit here. I went around lunchtime and they had a bit of a crowd, but nothing too crazy. Upon walking in I was NOT acknowledged. I stood in the middle of the entry area waiting for a waitress to be seated for over five minutes before another family walked in and the cashier asked were they dining in and how many in their party. I immediately told her I only have 1 person and that I had been waiting almost 10MINS. I should have walked out then. I told her that I would just sit at the bar because there was an open seat. Once at the bar, the waitress there took another 5mins to acknowledge me again, but I sat patiently. After 8 mins she finally gave me a menu, and didnt even get my drink order. after leaving me to look at the menu, she took another 10 mins to get back to me. During this time I saw her serve 1 other person and a group IMMEDIATELY after they came in. they were seated and had there drinks! By this time I'm pissed. At this time I'm here for 30mins and nothing to drink, thirsty as hell and still NO ORDER TAKEN. she finally came around and asked was I ready to order. I told her I only wanted Water and placed my order. After another 11MINS of waiting, my order came out but I did not stay. I asked for a carry out from another waitress and packed my food to leave. The waitress I had finally turned to me and said, "I thought you were dining in?" It's funny how she remembered that but couldn't remember to take my order or bring my beverage! I told her I'm leaving, and that I still hadn't even gotten anything to drink. And I left...worst service ever! I guess that's how racism feels! I was ignored, and half assed serviced while other people were immediately seen and services. She passed me several times and seen I had nothing to drink and no menu no order!. The food was OK overall, not even worth the wait. But I WILL NOT BE dining here again!

Ate here for first time, passing through Memphis, best choice I think we could've made.
The Sweet Potato pancakes and their country ham are out of this world.
Highly recommend The Arcade....the history alone makes the visit well worth your time.

Great friendly service. I just had breakfast so I can't speak on the other meals. However the eggs are amazing, the breakfast ham is out of this world it's right off the ham bone! And the portions are generous. I would definitely go again!
