This upscale Galleria Italian is a solid draw thanks to authentic Sardinian fare including specialties like whole fish encrusted in salt and baked in their wood-fired ovens and unique housemade pastas; the first-class wine list features some of the owner's own bottles, and a distinctly European vibe within helps attract an eclectic international crowd.

The Sardinian cuisine at Arcodoro was excellent. When paired with their Sardinian wine selection you can't go wrong!

Some of my favorites from the menu:

Start: Pane Carasau and the Mare, paired with the Effix Wine.
Entree: Portobello Croccante or the Capesante Caramellate al Riso Venere Paired with the Fidatu Wine
Dessert: with the Sorbet and a Grappa!

But you can't go wrong with: Serenu Vermintino with the Pesce Crudo.
Still unsure.. look for Efisio or Paolo.. they are your go to guys..

Came here a few weeks ago with my girlfriend to try their Houston restaurant week menu and it was just okay. Some of the food was sort of dry and took awhile to make, for Italian we had tastier dishes at other places celebrating HRW. The service was good, everyone we encountered was polite. The decor and ambiance is nice for a romantic dinner.

Went with a birthday group during Restaurant week. We were all completely unimpressed and it's unlikely ANY of the group of 11 will return. Too many other better choices.

Table was cramped and the a/c was not cooling well so we were hot and uncomfortable.
We were given bread and plain olive oil and I asked for some butter.. I was flatly told "we do not have butter.." I questioned that statement based on the fact that it's a full kitchen and restaurant that prepares many different items in house and I wonder how that could possibly be the case.
I get that the Italian way is with olive oil.. but no herbs or anything in it.. Hot bread sounded good with some butter.. but i was told NO. So, there you have it.
I had the ravioli with veal and it was just marginal. the pasta was fine but the veal inside was dry and hard and had zero taste.
There was nothing specifically bad ( except that they couldn't find a little chunk of butter for the hot bread.. .) but also nothing really worth going back for. So, so many great choices besides this place.
And.. they won't refuse to let you have a little butter for your bread. That whole thing should have never happened.
