Food:

Was in town for a conference and stayed 4 nights at Indigo. Of 3 elevators, one was a service elevator, only 1 worked and I was on the 10th floor. Not only did the many patrons use it, but so did the staff, especially from the basement to the 1st floor. Staff left bags of trash and dirty linen on the elevators as they got on and off. The waits were long.
The room itself was fine. Somewhat small, butlean and simple with quality toiletries. And some of the staff were very helpful and friendly. And just a heads' up, if you package breakfast with your room, it consists of 1 beverage and 1 entree...so it could be a muffin and a Frappuccino or pancakes /w bacon and coffee.
Shuttle does NOT include airports. Only 3 mile radius. From Love Field, taxi is about $35, and from DFW is $40+.
Very convenient for Downtown Dallas area and cheaper than Sheraton.

Food:

The check-in process was pretty quick and the front desk was helpful in offering restaurant recommendations in the area, the location is located within walking distance to the Kay Bailey Convention center and they offer a shuttle to nearby destinations which is helpful, the rooms and total decor could use some work. The paint job in the hallways leading to the rooms is mediocre and the hotel could use some renovation. Staff overall was helpful and seemed to genuinely care if we were enjoying our stay which was nice. I don't know if I would come back to stay at this Indigo. I probably would check out the neighboring downtown hotels for comparison.

Food:

This is an older building, so things are not exactly the way we would normally expect in newer modern hotels, the building has been renovation to fit some of today's standards, but they can only do so much with what they had. With that being said, they had 3 elevators, but only one was working during our stay. There was also a convention going on downtown which increased the number of visitors to the area, which caused major delays with the one elevator. There are 13 floors in this building, so if you were anything above the 5th floors it took an extremely long time to get a ride down for baggage or just to get out. There breakfast was pretty good for the hotel, basically a full a full breakfast restaurant & bar.

Bad:
The toilet was clogged on first flush...from number 1.

There were hundreds of birds making loud noises all night, possibly from the parking garage next door...literally the entire night...

Good:
The room was very clean
Jorge at the front desk was extremely friendly at check in and even called to the room about 15 minutes later to make sure it was up to par.
Room was spacious and the HVAC worked great.
The bedding was comfortable.

Food:

Offers a discount for Baylor patients and a free shuttle service! Super comfortable beds and bedding (great pillows), very clean, easy to get to and very accommodating staff. Will be a repeat customer! 4 stars given instead of 5 for 2 reasons. 1) The shuttle starts running at 7 and our hospital procedure required us to be at Baylor at 630. It's a short drive tho and not much of an inconvenience. 2) The parking lot isn't manned early in the morning and the money machines at the gates were broken. We had to track down security to get out of the parking lot when leaving early in the morning. I'm not sure if the Indigo owns the parking lot tho or can influence change.
