This is one of those lil "hole in the wall" places that know how to cook up some good Mexican food. Thumbs up, pinky sideways\!!!/

This was my go to taco shop back in the late 80's to early 90's. Left SD in 94' and this was my first trip back. With that being said, my 2nd stop on a Carne Asada Burrito vacation. Over the course of 7 days, we ate at 7 different taco shops all over SD county ordering only Cane Asada Burritos . Armando's has the best Carne Asada Burrito's period.

I think the magic of these Burritos has to do with balance. meat, salsa, guacamole sauce, and most importantly, the tortilla. Each component brings something to the burrito party. Armando's does it the best. PS. their Salsa Verde rocks.

I flew across the country pretty much to go to Armando's just to see if it was what I remembered. They did not disappoint. If I flew 2500 mile to eat here surely you can drive 30 minutes.
