07/23/2015 11:44 pmAmazing food and owner/ chefs. Love this italian restaurant. Definitely my favorite one. Calamari, antipasta, shrimp pasta, steak and fish is on point. You can tell its fresh. And for dessert the creme brule and a wine cream stuffed pear a must!! ♡ |

02/07/2015 6:36 pmGreat place, fantastic service. Serious personality and personal pride in the food, the maitre' d. It is its own thing, and you can't find food the same quality for a better price. The house port is great. Perfect on a rainy weekday. |

10/03/2014 4:04 pmHands down the best Italian food I've ever had!! The Gnocchi was so delicate and delicious on the first bite I had to pause in disbelief of how incredible what I had just put in my mouth was! The chef/owner makes everything & everything is from scratch with only the best ingredients. How do I know this....he came to our table and told us all about it and his passion for cooking! His wife makes the bruschetta & is so welcoming. Very intimate atmosphere and the waiters know everything that's on the menu extensively. The smoothest flavorful Pino noir wine that was so wonderful I could smell the aroma of it before the glass hit the table. I can't say enough good things about this place..... |

09/04/2014 7:55 pmThis is my favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. This is where we take people we love, and people we want to impress with the quality of food and the reasonable prices. Don't even bother to open the menu - it's full of boring Italian fare that you can get anywhere. Let the server regale you with his salivatory descriptions of the specials. There are about a dozen each day, two or three starters, and the rest absolutely fabulous dinner options. It takes him about ten minutes to recite the whole thing; he's the biggest foodie I've ever encountered, and he's NOT the owner. The options are glorious and we always have a hard time choosing. But the porcini mousse starter with strips of aged Parm is incredible; it's hard not to lick the plate. Desserts are equally outstanding. Wine is reasonable but we bring our own and pay the very reasonable corkage. There are only about nine tables in the whole place, so there's never a mob. I'll keep coming back as long as this place is open. It's that good. |

08/27/2014 5:16 pmI don't know where these bad reviews are coming from. I've been here twice and really liked it both times. The restaurant itself leaves a bit to be desired - it's in a shitty strip mall that' hard to park in and it is a little cramped - but the food and service are great. |
