11/15/2015 8:42 pmIt's a really cute place, the service is great, it's BYOB, it's close by and near the Damen Brown and nearly all of the food we've ever had there is really tasty. But we don't go there that often because of one really bad dish (at least we didn't like it) - the blue crab salad. The staff was so proud of the blue crab salad, talked it up and really recommended it. I don't think it's usually on the menu - it was a special that night. Maybe you need to be Thai to appreciate it. If it weren't for that salad this would probably be a regular place for us, but the memory keeps us away. |

04/19/2015 12:07 amAroy Thai does not cater to allergies in any way whatsoever. I am allergic to nearly everything except the Beef & Broccoli. I was at the restaurant once, and will never go back. If you are allergic to nuts, seeds, peanuts, or eggs, do not eat here. The best food that I have had here that I am not allergic to, is the rice. In addition to not being able to handle allergies, the workers have so much trouble understanding English over the phone, that they couldn't figure out what my home address was after telling them repeatedly. Service is horrible over the phone and in person. |

04/07/2015 3:11 amThis might be a Thai food in the city hidden gem. It's small and very unexpected, but what you get is real and authentic all the way at Aroy. I've been here twice now and both times I've witnessed the place getting packed and tables turning over constantly. |
