Not even overpriced given it's some of the best food I've ever had.

We've frequented Art of the Table several times now, and I'm surprised at how rude and snooty some of the wait staff can be. Normally, we have just dealt with it because the food is good and the place cozy. But just now, we called to make a reservation, was put us on hold for 15 minutes and then was hung up on. When we called back, the woman on the phone very rudely said "What do you want?" and told us that there were no tables. Why she had to put us on hold for 15 minutes for telling us that, I don't know. I think they've lost as customers for good.

When we have foody friends come over this is one of the places we take them no matter what. It's very small and intimate with a lot of food options. The tasting menu is always a good choice. The service spaces and times the food very well and are very knowledge of the food they serve.

Offers tasting menus of very small courses and matching wine pairings. The restaurant is small and can be booked out completely for events. There used to be a share table where lots of people sat together for their meals. I guess that wasn't popular so the tables are now separated.

The vibe of the place has become more hipster and pretentious over time. Other clientele were quite pretentious. Once commented that one of the drinks we had tasted like port. On hearing us, there were rude comments on how wrong we were and that it was clearly not port. Whatever.

Poor Customer Service, not very good food, not worth the price tag. Our night started off bad when we arrived four minutes before our reservation, the staff was surprised we had reservations, that they later found, and had us wait on the sidewalk outside, there were no customers inside so it's not like they were full. We ordered three small dishes a piece, over an hour passed while everyone at our table ate two of their three dishes, before I was served my first dish. No one was happy with their food, some things were just plain bad, others were tolerable. We all agreed nothing we ate was good. The music was super loud, eventually we asked them to turn it down, I think they turned it down slightly, it was kind of terrible. If this place wants to charge these prices, they really need to step it up with better staff and better dishes.
