Another Cordua gem (Américas, Churrascos), this upscale outfit with wowza presentations of delicious Latin American fare is located inside of the Hobby Center for Performing Arts in Downtown, making it a go-to stop before a show; it's elegant indoors, and the outside balcony, with its wonderful views of the city, is an excellent place to share a drink.

Food:

We have been going to Arista's for several years. Tonight was a total disaster. First off the food was average. The lobster bisque is tomato soup. The spice in the bisque was way over powering. 2 of us had chicken which was fine. One of our party ordered the steak. I've seen bacon with less fat! The steak was covered in pepper, but due to the poor quality of meet I guess they had to do something.

Add to the poor food was a very bad table clean. We were seated in one of the double benches. Basically this is a bench with a small divider between the 2 tables.

After the previous party finished the bus boy started cleaning. He then proceeded to add a new table cloth. He shook the new table cloth, which actually had hair and other crap in it. This went all over our food.

Yep, gross!!!!! We all stopped eating. Dinner was now ruined.

The manager attempted to make things better with a 25% discount. Great ... $100, well $75 ... for a dinner covered in dust, and crap. Never going back.

And for the part we did eat it was just ok. There are many other restaurants in the area but they are LESS EXPENSIVE but you will get better food :)

DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! Heck, buy the packaged sandwich in the Hobby Center over anything from Arista.

What a bad joke! Three of us in our party ordered their " Smoked Lobster Bisque". The bisque arrived, in a large bowl. As I was spooning through I found about five small pieces of shrimp but not a single piece of Lobster. Six 1/2" square pieces of an unknown substance was also found. I asked the manager about the shrimp and unknown substance. The 6 small substance was a smoked cheese of some sort. So why not call it Shrimp Bisque? I was told they call it Lobster Bisque because they use the old shells of the Lobster. I didn't ask from where. The 6 square
is a smoked cheese. So it is Smoked Lobster Bisque. Who knew!.

Food:

One of those places where I'd like to keep to myself, but you have to give credit where credit is due.
The ambiance, Artista Restaurant , and drinks are all really Artista Restaurant . The fact that happy hour ends at 8pm is awesome. The location is perfect for people coming back into Queens from midtown. The sabering, as everyone is mentioning, is just icing.

Food:

I liked this place. The service was fast and attentive, the Location was great, the prices were exactly where they should be for the quality of food provided and the food was very tasty. There was nothing super adventurous on the menu, but it was all well made and well plated. I have nothing bad to say about this place, it is exactly what it purports to be.

I decided to take my teenage son out for lunch today down in the city, so we decided on Uruapan and it did not disappoint. The sad thing is I have worked near the Pilsen neighbourhood for a year or so and never hit this place, we'll that will now change after today!! Great food at unbelievable prices, it is a must stop if your in the area.
