Asa Sushi, San Francisco, California Restaurant Details

Food:

I lived 3 blocks away from Asa for over a year before I finally ventured in (because I always seem to want sushi on Sundays, and they are closed on Sundays).

Overall, fine experience but nothing to write home about. The sushi was prepared rather quickly and service was good (although I went for an early dinner when they just opened so the restaurant wasn't crowded).

The sushi itself tasted fine but nothing that left me wanting more.

Food:

The sushi was absolutely delicious and prices were reasonable for San Fran. The sushi chef was very friendly and helpful as was the rest of the wait staff. We were sitting at the bar and he even ended up giving us a special roll and ice cream free of charge. Would highly recommend.
