Very poor service, server seemed like d she didn't serve a day in her life. The salad dressing taste like ass, too much sauce on the dishes . waste of money!

I first came here maybe six or seven years ago. I'd been vegan for a couple of years and we had just held a suspension event at my house. The suspension team said they had to have it while they were in town. It's easily my favorite Chinese place. I've traveled, and I lived in Dallas for a few years; I always got Shanghai Mamas when I visited because it's the best. Pretty sure I've had the same waitress on and off over the years too. She is fantastic at her job, and a pleasure to chat with, and I remember her working pretty late into a pregnancy one year. Basically, I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Also, the way they handle a lunch rush is efficient and unique; go check them out!

Food:

Great atmosphere, good for groups or dining solo at wooden tables with exposed brick walls. The vegetarian curry ribs are delicious, spicy and lightly sauced over rice; the "eel" was also good, if a little over-salty. Service is top-notch.

Homemade noodles, great vegan options and excellent service! Best Chinese in Cincy.

Food:

Pros: Large portions, and they had Revolution Brewing's Anti-Hero (in a can), which is among my favorite Chicago beers. The space is very nice and well decorated, and the service was pretty good.

Cons: Not very authentic at all. I live and work in Shanghai (and all over China) periodically, and this was definitely geared for American tastes. If you are looking for authentic Chinese, go elsewhere. If you're looking to fill up before a show at the Taft, then you'll like it fine.
