Brought a large group of eighteen here yesterday after a Windy City Explorer walk and they were so accommodating to us. Great food, ambiance and service! The outdoor patio is a must in the summer! Duplicate review... August 2014 and August 2015! Can't wait to return again!

Usually my go to spot on Halsted is Greek Islands, because I mean, it's Greek Islands. However, thanks to the new renovations, Athena has been put back on the map. With a huge convertible indoor/outdoor space it is a great place to hang out during both good and bad weather! The newer space has giant sliding walls and ceilings (both glass) so on a beautiful day you can get the feeling of eating outside without sitting along a busy street and on crappy days you can feel like you're outdoors and kick the cabin fever to the side. As for the food/drinks, I still think Greek Islands is better.
