this is a great place for Chinese in the green hills area. the dumplings here are much bigger and the sauce is better than Chinatown down the street.

Those who warn you to avoid this place are correct.
I took my family there tonite. There was NO FOOD in the trays.
When they finally refilled SOME of the trays, the food was lousy.
Limited choices, mediocre food, very overpriced for what is offered.
Do yourself a favor and avoid the trip.
Anyone who says the food is good has no taste buds or never experienced good Chinese cuisine.

Don't believe everything you read. I had been tempted for a while to try August Moon but never got around to it. After reading so many good reviews and seeing their award, I gave it a shot. Partly also because the restaurant I wanted to go to had an hour wait. Anyways, I was still expecting good things after doing my research on Moon. I was totally disappointed. I won't trash them because they do seem to have a loyal following. However, if they are serving you the same thing we ordered, and I'm sure I'm not the only one ordering General Zhou, I do have to question your taste in Chinese. You can get better Stir Fry Noodles at Woodlands INDIAN restaurant than at August Moon. I'm never going back, and still searching for my favorite Chinese restaurant in Nashville.

This place has great Chinese food, great atmosphere and great prices. I've only been there once but I think that was some of the best Chinese food I've had. The drink prices were pretty good too. I will definitely be back.

Just FYI, this is Americanized Chinese food. Other reviewers complained that it's not 'authentic' Chinese and that's probably true. This is what your average person would call 'normal' Chinese food.
