It's like dinner at your favorite aunt's say fans of this snug, humble Passyunk Italian BYO run by two women who really care, doling out warm greetings along with generous portions of serious pastas and quirky specials from the open kitchen; most agree you can't go wrong here.

So good !! Went there for Valentine's Day. From the friendly greeting at the door to the flavorful food to the most amazing desert, August was a great experience. So cozy and warm :) perfect place to celebrate with your significant other. :)

I went here for Valentine's Day in Feb 2015 with my boyfriend. We made reservations but there was a bit of a wait– which I wasn't terribly surprised about because it is a rather small restaurant. Our food was delicious (well worth the wait) and I loved the intimate atmosphere. It has always been one of my boyfriends favorite places and I was happy to finally go with him for the first time. Our server was very nice, she opened our bottle of wine that we brought (we're suckers for a BYOB) and she was helpful to any questions we had. Can't wait to go again =)

One look at the menu and they had me. I ordered the roasted Artichoke appetizer and that was delicious. So how can they be so wrong on pasta? Pasta a shrimp was my order. Tasteless and over cooked shrimp. My husband's scallops were unremarkable and his entree was as well.
Will not be back. Never worth the money.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is amazing and the people are super nice. I've tried many different things on the menu, and I have never been disappointed. I definitely consider it one of the best restaurants in all of Philadelphia. No doubt.
