Absolutely the best authentic Mexican cuisine by far! This is NOT a chips and salsa kinda place. The staff is very genuine and will explain any menu item to you. The Pollo Mole is fantastic and come with rice cooked in a corn husk, and make sure you try the Queso Fundido!

Are you kidding me? This is by far the best Mexican food I have ever eaten in my life. Delectable sauces, came with my plate of delicately cooked meat, there were no less than 6-8 sauces. The tortillas were by far the best I have ever had, besides my grandmothers when I was little. She could make perfectly round small flour tortillas. The ceviche was very high end cooking. I loved the homie yet elevated experience. After visiting Le Pigeon, Navarre, Touche, Paley's Place and a number of other restaurants in Portland -this was my favorite. Spectacular experience. It is a bit far out from the downtown center. But if you want to really experience the best Portland has to offer -do not miss Authentica!

Birthday dinner for the husband, everything was great, including the birthday shot of tequila. We had a Caesar salad (the dressing and bread was divine but the romaine leaves were a little hard to eat gracefully) and also the other one on the menu (I forget the name of it), both delicious. Served with warm tortillas and three dipping sauces/salsas. My husband ordered the half chicken and I ordered the chicken enchiladas, which came with two enchiladas, one with red sauce and one with green, with a chile relleno in between. Fabulous. Mouth heaven. With an amazing tres leches cake for dessert - with a candle. :-) Server very nice, adequate wine with a good pour, friendly place, nice table by the window. We'll go back more often. Love it.
