Really good Ethiopian I have known this place for almost 20 years owner is really nice. Great for football there are like 20 tvs and food is very authentic and not like that fake crap you get at other Ethiopian restaurant. And the have a very chill lounge up stairs mad hookah upon request. Again been going here for 20 years really recommend it. Also if your a vegetarian they have a very huge variety for you.

Awash's "Awaze Tibs" dish was amazing! Great food and customer service. I will definitely return here when I'm in DC.

Awash has some of the best Ethiopian food around. The meat or the veggie platter easily feeds 2, and the cuisine is exquisite. It also doesn't kill your wallet, either. Staff is very friendly, place is very clean.
