This is honestly some of the best Thai food we've ever had... And we eat a lot of Thai food! The curries were flavorful and the portions were plentiful. We had the chicken wings appetizer, the green thai curry and the pad see ew. Highly recommended!

First of all, the food was really spicy. So spicy that we couldn't breathe. We couldn't taste anything and we all got sick that night (6 of us). We all love spicy food, we love thai food, we are asians but this was nothing close to thai food. we ordered medium spicy but it was still extremely spicy, it was no way medium. Maybe they poured a lot of chilli for no reason. The staff were not attentive, we got tired of waiting to get our drinks refilled, so we had to walk up with the jug and look for soneone. There was no one to help us despite there were no other customers to serve at that time. They also charged us gratuity.it was comparitively expensive according to the quality of the food. It was also dark and dirty, not pleasant at all. It was a horrible experience overall. We never would recommend to try their food if you want thai food.

Eat here all the time. Great experience. I would recommend this to people looking for good quality Thai cuisine at an affordable price.

There is a lot of mediocre Thai food in Portland. This place is actually good, and makes their food spicy! I like spicy food, but I usually just order the "mild plus" unless I feel like a challenge. Their mild is like most place's medium. I also find that the flavors are richer and more complex in their dishes than other aforementioned mediocre Thai places.

Bann Thai is excellent. One of the best Thai restaurants I've been to, and I make a point of trying new Thai places.

Be careful, though. When they say "hot", they're not messing around. Their food can be very spicy if you're not careful!
