02/22/2016 11:48 pmI have been paying your ridiculous prices and putting up with the rude staff for almost a decade. But after today I'm done. For the second time in a month I placed a very simple carryout order, chicken makhani, plain naan, vegetable pakora and it was never prepared. When my wife came to pick it up the jerk behind the counter acted like she was crazy. As though some woman just walked in off the street demanding food. Admittedly the food has always been decent but this time you've crossed the line. Bye bye Baba! It's Shaan for me from now on. |

09/02/2015 1:20 amOne phrase review - Indians, run away! We ordered chicken Biriyani, chicken Pakora, chicken kurma and panneer Naan. The service was very courteous and prompt but the food was horrible. We left pretty much everything on the table walked out and stopped at a nearby grocery store to pick up dinner. The meat was stale, so stale that we couldn't eat it. Biriyani was some curry mixed with half cooked long onion pieces and rice mixed together, and chicken Pakora was a joke. My 4 yr old said he likes the McDonald's chicken nuggets than this so called pakora. It was a thick rubbery thing covered in batter, yuck! Left the entire thing as it was. I love Biriyani and it is a dish I order at every restaurant for the last 22 years. Sorry to say that this was the worst one I had in a long time I can remember. The first indication should be the Pappadam we got for our 2 yr old. Out of the 3 or so pieces, two were burnt and were black. They didn't even apologize but just dropped another Pappad. We were just angry at the entire experience, I can't remember the last time it was this bad at an Indian restaurant. [edited] When we told the another lady who took the order that the food isn't good, she couldn't care less. She just turned and walked away! This traumatic experience cost us $42, wish I donated it to a charity. The good fall out of this experience was the realization of how good it feels to eat fruits for dinner. Check my other review for a good biriyani restaurant in the area. |
