I went there with friends and family and we had a blast. We also enjoyed the calamari. We got there at 6 and had been served by 620 good job ...did I mention my food was cooked right not like some other places ...we will be back...

Blue is one of my favorite places to drink and dine and the flagship restaurants have the best happy hours in Omaha.

Some favorites:
-Key lime martini (graham cracker crust)
-Spicy edamame
-Crab rangoon
-Crunchy Blue
-Super Asparagus
-Crunchy LA

My absolute favorite thing on the menu is the citrus salmon. It's a grilled salmon on top of a rice patty that is absolutely to die for with two sauces and a side of green beans.

All the Blue locations have been a favorite of mine for years, but I'm afraid after several disappointing experiences, I'm done. The ambiance is gone, as they just don't seem to care any more about the dining experience. The service is untrained, sloppy and slow. The sushi and everything else has become unimaginative and very average. I can't even go for their happy hour, which use to be the best in town, but is now watered down drinks and boring menu choices. Maybe the owners should start taking care of the details and caring about quality again, rather than opening new locations and building a dynasty!

The best sushi restaurant I've ever been to, hands down! This is saying a lot considering sushi is my fav food. I lived in Chicago for 7 years where sushi restaurants are everywhere and I went to 90% them :) Compared to top Chicago sushi and competitors in Omaha, Blue is the best when it comes to sushi quality and price. Happy Hour is the best time to go. We went last night, (usually a once per week event), and again had awesome food and drinks. Even their house white wine is good, (usually I'm not a fan of chardonnays). I highly recommend Blue to any sushi enthusiast or anyone looking to sample sushi for the first time!
