Bacon Mansion The, Seattle, Washington Restaurant Details

Excellent stay. My room was beautiful, clean, well taken care of. I could relax outside on the patio reading, then drift inside for a great night's sleep. I slept like a rock. It's also very conveniently located to downtown/Pikes Place. The owners really take great care of the place - highly recommended!

Food:

We stayed only one night at the Bacon Mansion, and that was enough. If we had planned to stay longer in Seattle, I would have looked for other lodging. The Mansion had an ideal location. Close to restaurants and shopping. We were able to walk to the Asian Museum of Art and several other attractions. Public transit was accessible. The owner was friendly and happy to offer directions and parking options for our visit into the city. Parking was limited near the Inn, and we were encouraged to park on the street. Our room was clean, and our bed had fresh sheets. Some furniture and home decorations weren't authentic and some pieces were broken. Our room seemed to be thrown together. Our breakfast consisted of cold fruit salad that looked like it had been around a few days and hot muffins. Muffins ran out before all guest could have one. I would advise family and friends to stay elsewhere if traveling to Seattle.

My wife and I stayed one night during a pretty quiet seasonat Bacon Mansion. Darryl was a fabulous host, very gracious and welcoming. The rooms were accommodating, the muffins in the morning were great, and the building is walking distance to some great parts of Capitol Hill. We enjoyed ourselves, and hope to be back in the future.

Situated within walking distance to trendy Capitol Hill this is a very charming place with a lovely outside courtyard and inner areas to chill out and read a book. Free breakfast and WiFi. We stayed in the loft which was an old chauffeur's lodging. Bed was comfortable with excellent sheets and pillows. Coffee machine and tv in room.

Unfortunately I was only able to spend one night! I really enjoyed it, nice folks who are very accommodating, quiet, great feel to it. I am looking forward to staying there again on my next Seattle trip.
