You will be thrown through an assembly line. You will be chastised for asking what the soup of the day is. You will be shamed into buying pie. You will feel as if you have gone to confession. You will never find a better turkey sandwich.

Good, solid, nutritious food that tastes great. The staff has character, the line moves fast, and you get what feels like a bit more than what you pay for - it's just the right kind of place.
If you're the kind of person who buys organic and only shops at places that paper their walls with self-congratulating mission statements about how expensive, gourmet, and exclusive their food is, you won't appreciate this. But if you judge food by merit, this is a good place.

It is CASH ONLY! But if you don't know that (because I didn't) they give you a receipt and tell you to pay later! Amazing! My sandwich was only 8$ and it was a hearty portion! Theybare a great place with great people!

Great smelling food when you walk in. Owner at register made me smile when he handed my wife the change after I paid, and asked her if she wanted pie. He smiled and says I always ask the person that isn't paying. I was having a rough day and needed the smile and chuckle. Will defiantly be back and recommend it.

This place is like no other I've seen in Seattle. Cafeteria meets an old basement bar feel. Fresh bread and turkey everyday, with fast service and super affordable. Sure, the guy at the register can be rude at times but the lines long and its all part of the atmosphere. If you haven't you need to at least check it out once for yourself.
