Great staff and food. Some of the best polish food I have had here or in the Midwest. Great paito out back as well.

If a restaurant is not too busy, the turn over in food may not be as it should. There were no other customers in the restaurant, except a lady sitting in the foyer crying while talking on the phone. I believe she was in the restaurant to get out of the cold. (it was very cold yesterday.) She came in while I was there, but did not order. It was a little after 5:00 pm.
The people were very nice. I did not eat there, but picked up food to take home. The prices were comparable to other Polish type restaurants. There was a small deli section when I first walked in with a fairly large empty freezer display, and a smaller one that had a few things in it. I ordered some mushroom soup, fresh potato/vegetable salad, and a dozen frozen potato/cheese porgies to go. The lady got everything from another section in the restaurant. I heated the soup as soon as I got home. The soup had some farfel/pasta like stuff clumped in it. I believe that it was precooked a while back and maybe put in the freezer. The pasta tasted stale, like freezer burn. I cooked the perigees and they were good, as was the potato/vegetable salad. I might go back to get perigees to go, but probably would not eat there.

Beware! Big disappointment! Overprice not fresh food, by the way stinks inside!
