The very best Hawaiian food in Portland, bar none. I don't care if it's actually as true to real local Hawaiian food or not. This stuff tastes absolutely amazing. Been going here for years. Love love love!

I have been throwing money down the hole at this place for a couple of months now and have been progressively more and more upset to the point that I am now leaving a review and will no longer be calling in take-out and probably never coming back to dine either.

Portion size is extremely inconsistent, I get the large combo plate for a significant 20 bucks trying to get a solid amount of food. Sometimes I receive what looks like a small sized portion and occasionally I get the full meal I'm paying for but it feels like less and less often. I would say on average 1/5 times I get the food I am paying for. Today I received a flanken cut rib that was only the strip of bone with nothing else, if I was eating my food at the restaurant I would feel 100% comfortable telling them to charge me for the food on my plate since it does not reflect my order.

DO NOT get take-out from this place unless you are perfectly fine with paying MORE than sit down customers, extra for sauces, and getting half the regular amount of food. I am genuinely extremely upset that I can't get a full meal for 20 bucks from this place which would have had an extremely loyal customer otherwise.

PS I've been tipping for take-out as well which has me feeling like a sucker.

Exceptional service, exceptional food. We tried 9 different meats and they were all amazing. Best Hawaiian food the whole table has ever had!! Thank you!

Solid sized portions, great teriyaki and their beef rib selection is unmatched. Service can be slow.
