06/14/2015 7:06 pmThe food was bad, and I'm being nice, the chicken in the fajitas tasted like bad tuna or as if it had been microwaved a few times. Our experience was awful. The mood was set by loud clanging by the busboy polishing the silverware right next to us, I thought that was why you have "the back". I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone... Just terrible. |

03/08/2015 3:21 amEverything was so good, I had to post my review while still at the table. My wife and I were greeted and seated my the owner himself (Jorge), and he apologized in advance if our meals took too long to be served due to several large tables which had been seated just before us. Needless to say, timing and quality were fantastic. We started with an app of made-to-order queso, which was fantastic. My wife enjoyed the chicken quesadillas, which were plump and full of flavorful, tender chicken and served with homemade guacamole & pico. My Cuban sandwich was spot-on, with tender ham & pork that was highlighted by the melted Swiss and pickles. The service was also great, with plenty of timely refills and extra napkins. Not just any napkins, but Latin - food rated napkins. Big and absorbent, ready to handle any mess left by the cuisine. Definitely pleased with our first visit, and will be on the list for future trips to DC. |

09/01/2014 12:58 amVery cute bar/restaurant. I ordered the vegetarian option and it was delicious. I had enough to take home and eat for a second meal! They also have karaoke upstairs (I am not sure what nights in particular). Decent food, decent atmosphere. |

11/23/2015 5:57 pmRolling out a tasty mash-up of Cuban, Tex-Mex and Puerto Rican dishes, this casual Capitol Hill spot overseen by a hard-working team also features a great piano bar on the second floor; surveyors split on the decor – fun vs. could use a bit of sprucing up – but there's agreement that it attracts a wonderful mixture of people. |
