This restaurant was my first experience with Thai food. Upon entering the building the kitchen is visible. I watched as two elderly women (grandmothers) hand mixed a giant bowl of fresh chopped veggies with their bare hands and I thought "maaaan, that's gonna be good!" I ordered the much raved "Pad Thai", and also a side of vegetable egg rolls which were served with a side of whole leaf lettuce leaves, and fresh mint with a tangy dressing. The combination of the salad, and Pad Thai was amazing. Wonderful flavors. All the food was so fresh and prepared well. I would recommend Bangkok Chef to everyone

This is authentic Thai food at Bangkok economy prices. They are also one of only a fiew places in hawaii with both stickey and brown rice options.

I do not like there pad thai, it has a very strange local ingredient it, which also gives it a reddish tinge. Good chicken wings though and service.
