The worst 'Thai' I ever had!

First of all they advertise cheap dishes on the Menu at the door that are nowhere to be found later.

It started ok with cheap tea and complimentary water and the starter wings with Thai-sauce were nice. The waitress hardly spoke but we didn't care too much.

The main courses however were disappointing.

1. Special fried rice with shrimp and chicken was ok, but was not spiced and the claimed Oyster sauce was nowhere to be tasted.
2. Chicken&vegetables with garlic and ginger sauce was completely tasteless. The only flavor I detected was a whole glove of garlic I accidentally chewed.

We gave a 2$ tip for a 35$ tasteless and stale meal, including standard service. As we left, the waitress followed us outside and demanded a 15% tip. We refused multiple times but she claimed it was a rule. After discussing the matter for 2 minutes she finally went back inside and we left.

Ridiculous place!

The food is pretty greasy and average. But their deserts are to die for. Best fried ice cream ive ever had including in Thailand. Must have

a family owned restaurant that, I believe, is now the oldest Thai restaurant in the city. The interior feels a bit dated, but is cozy, and they have space for large groups to sit on the floor in a more traditional dining style if you'd like. Friendly, attentive service and quality food at a good price. No particular menu standouts, but I've never had anything I disliked, either.

I went to Bangkok last Friday with some friends. I did not like the food at all and neither did my friends. The decor and service are good. The food was too bland and that may go with Bostonian taste, but I expect Thai food to be atleast somewhat spicy.

Awesome! Some of the best Thai food I have ever had. My husband and I both got Tom Yom soup and I got mine with veggies and it was just full of a huge variety of veggies that I can tell were added fresh. Both of our dishes were great, flavorful and fresh. Our server was pleasant, attentive and had great timing. Our host seated us far away from other diners (which seems like a dumb detail but SO MANY other places will walk you through an empty restaurant RIGHT to the table next to someone else).
The only con was my husband said to make his VERY spicy and it just wasn't spicy at all for him. I can understand if a restaurant feels they need to be safe here, but he was asking for it. Make him cry!
