Food:

Their dishes are not authentic. Mostly cheap imitations of what they should be. I really do wish I could like their food. (Oh, and please turn off the music.)

Food:

This place is a gem. The staff are on task, engaged, efficient and customer-focused. This is a well run business.

The green papaya salad was a terrific use of traditional techniques and ingredients with local adjustments, like green beans, which were blanched, crunchy and worked perfectly with the flavors in the salad.

I was reminded why I love Thai cuisine, its complex blend of flavors, aromas and textures. Bangkok Cuisine applies those principles without strict adherence to culinary orthodoxy. They put a lovely meal before you at a very reasonable price. They are friendly, helpful and fast. All this in an unassuming shopping center storefront.

We locals are lucky to have this place!

I just moved to the Northern Reno area and was looking for a Thai food place close to home when I stumbled upon Bangkok Cuisine Express from a Google search. To get to the point the Pud Thai was GREAT and a huge portion (it took a two meal tackle). The hot and sour soup was not really what I expected but I love all soup so no problems there. All the staff (that I interacted with at least) were very sweet to me :)

Bottom line: great take out place, but it has a nice atmosphere so I would consider dinning in

One of my favorite restaurants in Reno! I love the coconut milk vegetable soup. The food is great, service is fast and friendly, and the prices are cheap (~$10) for a sit-down restaurant. They offer take-out if you're on the go too. Highly recommended.

Food:

Good food. Reno isn't known for its Asian food choices, but this is one of the best. I always get the garlic beef and it is always perfectly cooked with lots of garlic. I highly recommend.
