01/20/2016 5:54 pmMy husband and I have enjoyed Bangkok Garden for many years for both dinners and lunches. Just today, I got a quick lunch to go of fresh spring rolls and chicken sate which will be plenty for two lunches for me. The spring roll ingredients were extremely fresh; the chicken saute was perfectly cooked and the dipping sauces were delicious. |

08/05/2015 3:29 amIt's definitely hit or miss. To all the people who get sub par food, send it back! They can't fix it if you don't tell them! |

05/29/2014 9:19 pmGreat service, terrible food... we got the sampler plate, everything was pretty good except for the chicken on a stick - dry as a bone.. as in the chicken snapped like a potato chip when you bent it.. We both ordered Pad Tai. My friend got shrimp Pad Tai, I ordered seafood combo Pad Tai. No exaggeration: the two plates of food smelled like rotten feet. Much like what your feet would smell like after a week of not taking off your shoes.. there is no other way to describe the smell. The second complaint? None of the seafood was cooked (except for the shrimp). The scallops were cold - you couldn't tear them apart (clearly not cooked), the calamari was thick and cold, all the seafood was slimy and raw.. I don't mean undercooked, I mean RAW. Maybe thats why the pad tai smelled like dirty feet? |

12/01/2013 5:02 pmI've been going here for a couple of years now, and although the food was always okay - meaning very average at best - my two most recent experiences have lead me to write a review in warning. Something is wrong at this place now. Two weeks ago, we ordered take out and got the most tasteless food. My own "drunken noodles" were essentially clumps of rice noodles stuck together with barely enough sauce to cover half the noodles. Worst Thai food ever, not just from here but from anywhere. A week later, hoping it was just a fluke the previous week, we ordered take out apps. How hard is it to make chicken satay? For Bangkok Garden, it must be pretty hard because of two orders, one was okay and one was dried up and burned. It was pretty obvious they had a cancelled order of satay and had reheated the second batch to pawn off on a take out order. Well, good job. I have no intention of buying used food from these people again. |
