I am based in the northwest and did a refinance with the bank of kansas city mortgage arm of this bank. Great rate on the loan, but otherwise it's been sorely a disappointing transition away from a 21st century bank to this one. No options for paperless. The Bank of KC website is archaic. And whenever I need to dial in and speak with a representative, I can plan for 15 minutes worth of waiting and re-directs wherein I provide the same information (loan number and last 4 of SSN) at least 3 times.

Don't make people repeat themselves again and again unless you want more reviews like this one.

They process your largest transactions first under the auspices of "making sure your important items go through". However, in reality, by messing with the order of your transactions, it results in all the small transactions bouncing and then you get fee'd to death. Also, the online software is not a true representation of what may be pre-pending, so you cannot use the online software as your 'register' to balance your budget. Fees Fees Fees
