This 10 year old hipster bar is a great place to enjoy cheap drinks in downtown. It is one of the few places in downtown where you can walk in with flip flops and not be judged at the door. It is a great place to start and end your night when you want to keep it casual. The staff is very friendly and the vibe is very casual. I always order the tall PBR when I am here to get into the hipster mood. They currently have a dispute with the building owners so if you enjoy this bar and want to keep it from shutting down you can join in on their social conversation using #occupybar107.

It's a great little dive bar with cheap drinks and good music. Always crowded on the weekends! Like almost no walking room. There are 4-5 little booths where people can sit, but that's first come, first serve. They play rock, alternative, old school rap, hip hop, and everything other than EDM. I've been to Bar 107 a total of 3 times. My experiences have been good, but not great. It's a fun atmosphere, but the last 2 times, there have been scuffles. First time, a drunk guy tried to fight my friend and my friend got kicked out (security later sorted it out correctly and gave my friend a beer as an apology). This last time, we had just arrived to the door and security was in the process of kicking out this couple. The girl was running her mouth, and the security guard pushed her pretty hard.....very questionable of him. Other than that, you should definitely check this place out if you want cheap drinks and a dive bar feeling.

The drink were good, we were having a great time. I was told the drinks I purchased were 15$. Later I see my ba nk statement and they added 3 more dollars and 2 more dollars on another round of bear. WTF!!!

Cheap beers, chill atmosphere. Can get really packed which kind of sucks, gets really hot. One of the last dive bars in LA with a dance floor. Pay cash, I have gotten over charged a couple times on my cc.

Typical plastic LA hangout. No one in there has a soul.

I'm a musician, and I was a musician as a teenager, and like most teenage musicians I was exploited. The stolen versions of my songs were playing on the house sound system, connected to somebody's iPod.

It was the same bar that my band would hang out in when we played in LA. My band as adult, I mean.

So yeah, I'm not cool in this bar/town by myself, I should bring a band if I want to be served a drink at this bar. Because I ordered a drink, and it was never brought to me.

Whether you think this Downtown dive bar for the alterna-set is an oasis of real cool or just another hipster hangout will probably depend on how you feel about weird decorative touches (e.g. a statue of a rearing stallion in gym socks), bargain-basement Pabst, old-school video games and karaoke; still, it's mostly down and dirty fun, with prices low enough to justify drinking all night and a dance floor to unfurl that freak flag like nobody's watching.
