"Fantastic" tapas serve as the "perfect bridge between hipster style and big-kid cuisine" at this "casual but chic" Spanish that's "still going strong" in Northern Liberties; whether you need to impress a first date" or "your parents", "it doesn't disappoint", and the Monday half-price wine bottle deal is a plus.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Spanish fare. The delicious, affordable entrees coupled with the warm, attentive wait staff makes this restaurant a must-visit in Northern Liberties. The cozy, quiet and rustic atmosphere is an extra bonus

Incredible food in a great location. Love the classic Spanish tapas feel. To those people who say the portions are small, *it's a tapas place guys!*

Seriously, if you like Spanish tapas, come to Bar Ferdinand.

We've been to Spain recently, so it was fun to have dinner at Bar Ferdinand. We felt the food was quite reminiscent of an authentic Spanish restaurant. The tapas and tostas were fabulous. We also enjoyed the Spanish flatbreads and sangria. Great service. We had a nice table by the windows.

Used to love this reastaurant, but now is a disappointment. We could not eat most of the food. Greasy, no seasoning. Ugh. The entire area is going down. Sad.

Nice place to bring a date to a close. The menu is small, not a lot of options. When they say Spanish they mean European Spanish....... not the rest of the world Spanish that eats rice. The place serves drinkers better than it does actually having dinner. No Yuengling or local drinks on the menu, mostly stuff imported from the menu in most Boston restaurants. The place is nice for a snack, but if you are hungry I would search for other places. Other than that what they did have to offer was well withing the spectrum of tasting good.
