Had a nice dinner, but service was very slow when we were there - 7:30 reservation, table wasn't ready for ~15 minutes, didn't get food until about 9. Might have just been there on an exceptionally busy night with short staff. Servers were very polite and thoughtful, and food was good.

Excellent drink selection and meat was perfectly cooked. Both the filet and swordfish were delicious! We will definitely be back!

I have only been once, but that experience was just fantastic. Went on the Saturday of the Kentucky Derby. Called ahead about 45 min before we got there, and they put a reservation in for us (2 people). Barely had to wait when we arrived, which was right before the race started. Place was packed, but tables were turning and it was a good mix of folks having dinner and hanging at the bar. Our waitress was very nice - chatty, but not overly so. She didn't shy away from making recommendations (but only after we asked for them), and she was courteous, prompt, and genuinely friendly. All tables were seated, so it's not like she was having a slow night.

So the service was wonderful, and the food? Superb. We both got filet mignon, cooked to different temps. They were PERFECT. You could practically cut it with a butter knife. The sides were all delicious. I don't remember exactly what we got (it was a couple months ago), but I just know it was all incredibly flavorful.

Finally, if you're a drinker, the cocktails are creative and memorable. I recommend the Screaming Viking. The bartenders didn't even mind when we ordered a "specialty" drink with a modification (not always a welcome request). Bar service took a little longer, but was completely reasonable given how busy it was.

Worth every penny. I'll definitely be back!

The monkfish was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The baked Brie had an explosion of flovors and a nice crunch coming out of the brick oven. The duck and Brie pizza was different... In a good way. The habanero infused margarita was delicous and complex. A slice of Devils food cake was meal sized. The coconut/toasted almond cheesecake had a rich cheesy taste, one of the best cheese cakes I've had, among many many many... Eating at the kitchen bar offered easy mealtime conversation. Our waitress was polite, direct, and knowledgable. All for a reasonable price. Absolutely no reason for me to rate less than 5 stars.
