So I order food and the waiter is asking for a credit or debit card before we even get our meal........who does that?........I replied that I'm not comfortable with that........so I asked the other patrons that were eating if they were asked for their cards before they were served and they said no........how are patrons supposed to feel? I'm completely outraged and disgusted. Will not be coming here again. Spoke with the manager and that got no where, not even an apology. Just an excuse.......maybe they'll get better with different management. Until then not ever going there again.

Excellent, spacey beer place with large variety of craft beers.
Food is good too. I disagree with the other reviewer who did not like the pizza. I found the pizza was quite good, freshly made, and quite delicious. If you want superb pizza, go and wait in line for hours at Grimaldi's. This is a high-end pub, with great atmosphere and top notch beers! Staff was very friendly and efficient.

Love, love love this place! One star less than perfect because it's clear the place is new and they are still getting the kinks worked out with waitstaff and dishes, but it is otherwise fabulous! Great ambiance, great decor/design, great beer selection, great food (chicken nachos were amazing, fish and chips were good). Can't wait to come back to this place!

Bad pizza, really bad.

Looks like a nice place, decent beer selection (some might say its great, but so many bars do this now and Mudville on Chambers has more beer). Not sure how the food is, other than the pizza. I raised my issue to the manager, so maybe they will adjust their recipe. However, the manager said they had rave reviews, so perhaps not. I do not doubt that some people like it, there is no accounting for taste. The crust was not as charred on the bottom as you expect from a brick oven pizza, maybe the oven wasn't fully warmed up. There was slightly too much cheese for the super thin crust. I don't think the cheese was high quality, though it was really hard to tell due to the overwhelming amounts of oregano. Oregano is controversial. Pizzarias in Rome and even the good ones in NY (Grimaldis, Lombardis, etc) don't use it in their sauce or cheese mix. But many americans grew up with horribly americanized sicilian food, which includes oregano. However, even when one actually likes oregano in their pizza sauce, I think we can all agree it should be balanced. Barleycorns pizza was not balanced. It was inedible.
