07/16/2015 3:00 pmI wasn't impressed. My wife and I wanted to go somewhere nice and romantic for our anniversary. To me it felt more like a golf course lounge/restaurant. |

11/26/2014 7:54 amWas not that impressed with the food or atmosphere. Very expensive for such small portions. I had some pork dish with pasta I didn't much care for. Our appetizers were quite good though. Service was ok, but I felt the staff was looking at us like we didn't belong. Probably because we are in our 20s and everyone else there seemed to be 50 or older. |

11/22/2014 4:14 amBarolo restaurant was pretty good! my husband and I did enjoy everything after the very RUDE hostess arguging with me about our reservations. my husband almost was going to walk out due to her poor treatment towards us. Not to mention she continues to argue until the manager steps in. He was very pleasant and found our reservations. After that nonsense,we were seated and ordered the tasting meal. was under the impression that it was going to satisfy my husband after being told she was absolutely sure he won't be hungry after. Well not the case at all!!! However the service was good and the "little" portions of food we did receive was pretty awesome!!! overall experience was okay, would have been better had the RUDE hostess had better customer service... As well as my husband leaving still hungry after $210 Bill for 2 and absolutely No alcohol just water and a side of cranberry juice. so a little disappointed with that amount and still hungry!!! |

06/03/2014 6:10 pmThe wine list, at 50 something pages, is overkill. The bottles they put a condensed page of favorites are all marked up 4X their price. (This would be fine if they were all great, but the ones we order were just average.) The food is good, but at $30 a plate, I expected to be wowed, and I was not. I could recommend this place if their prices came down to about $20 per dish and the wine mark-up was the normal 3X. But at over $70 a head (including drinks) I can't say it was worth the cost. |

12/01/2015 6:27 pm"Yes, I'll have that – and oh, I'll have that" respond fans of the "dreamy Northern Italian menu at this Cherry Creek standard-bearer" that's "innovative" too, tended by servers for whom diner satisfaction is paramount in an "elegant" yet "cozy" setting suited to "romance"; the extensive, exceptionally interesting wine list only enhances the special-occasion aura (though granted, so will the not inexpensive bill). |
