Barrio Brewing Co, Tucson, Arizona Restaurant Details

Food:

This place is generally good. Sometimes can be hit or miss, but I still come back. Then service can be good when they're not busy. But if there is a game and the place is packed, service is not the best. The food is good, particularly the tequila cilantro wings. The beer selection is really the reason you go to a brewery and this place has a great selection.

Food:

Not a great experience. The service was decent, the waitress I had was as attentive as she could be, she seemed overworked, but my service didn't necessarily lack because of it, it was just rushed. The beer definitely leaves something to be desired. The pours in the sample glasses were very obviously uneven, leaving no more than a sip in one or 2, but seeing as how the beer was pretty meh... that's a moot point. Got a california burger. The guac was almost non-existent, save for some green coloring on the hamburger patty. Pretty pedestrian fare IMO. Will not be returning.

I was the first customer at Barrios today, and I have to say what pathetic service I received on this early afternoon. Firstly, the staff portrayed a large amount of incompetence and a bad attitude towards customers. No one attended to me for about ten minutes, and when the bartender finally showed up, she showed a severe lack of interest.
Secondly, the service was very slow. It took nearly an hour for my burnt food to be prepared, take in effect, I was the only customer when I walked in for lunch. Thirdly, the food itself was of very poor quality. It was quite cold and tasteless. I won't be spending my money at this place anytime soon.

service is Meh, beers are Meh, food is food. get the beer battered fries the extra75¢ is worth it.

Tried this place out on a business trip. Great selection of beers, the two I tried were excellent. I ordered a jalapeno burger which was excellent, not too dry nor too juicy. Wait staff was very attentive. A group near us was having a lot of fun with table shuffleboard which supplied entertainment as I hadn't played it in 30+ years.
Only reason for dinging them one star is that I'd like to see one or two more healthy appetizers and/or main offerings that don't have as much fat.

Give them a try, if you like beer, you will love this place.
