10/07/2015 9:06 amBarbarian Point has been my father's favorite restaurant for many, many years. He began his love for German food and German music during the years he spent in Germany while in the Army. My father would enjoy taking friends and family for lunch or dinner throughout the years. He was very generous and enjoyed giving Bavarian Point gift certificates as holiday gifts and to those who had not yet experienced the amazing German entrées that are offer. My Father unfortunately passed away and we have made it a family tradition to meet their every year on his birthday. We have enjoyed the food, drinks and service so much, we have decided to meet their more often. We gather around their very large bar to eat, drink, laugh and raise a glass to our father, "Bis wir uns wiedersehen, moge Gott dich in seiner Hand halten" - the Pandel Family & Friends |

08/17/2015 2:22 amWell well well, what can I say? The look and feel of the restaurant was very nice and German authentic. The salad bar was a joke, iceberg lettuce, and cold bread dumplings? Gross, second the meals that came our way. I ordered a german meal called rouladen and it came out okay.... nothing special, but nothing compared to real german food, had American mashed potatoes on the side with cheese? It wasn't bad , but really? Had a side of bread dumplings but those were even worse then the cold ones. I sent them back and had spetzle instead. Again, was okay not not german authentic. I had to order a piece of German black forest cake. If your german this is the design of the whole meal... and sigh, it was dried out, old and didn't taste like real back forest cake. Oh well.. zur katie, only 10 yards away takes the cake! The closest you are going to get to real german food, but being such a critic, it's not real. Happy days to all |
