Horrible! ordered cake for sons bday. just horrible all the fonded pieces fell off before i could carry it to the car. horrible customer service. overpriced not tasty cake. and they dont even care how you react. I said " this is not what i ordered" and they just stare at you without saying a word until you leave! seriously?? disgrace.

Cake is terrific. I get the white cake, with white frosting. It's terrific--- light cake, with delicious frosting.
(I read a number of reviews and wonder what kind of cakes they ordered, because the white frosting/white cake brings me to Whitefish Bay from downtown.)

Have had mixed results with service--- sometimes great, sometime so-so.

But, overall, I love this bakery. Felt I needed to post something since the current reviews do not reflect the quality of the cake.

I wish there was a better way to rate other than poor-fair or good.. because this place is honestly somewhere in the middle. I agree with most of the reviewers- the cake is awful. Seriously inches of gross frosting that kids wouldn't eat. The cake was dry.
The cake was special ordered and the service wasn't very good. I had to call them to ind out if my cake was ready. Anyway, the cake sucks and is very overpriced, especially when most of it was thrown away. :(
But- the cookies and pastries are good! so I'd hope the owner would listen to the customers and change up the cake mixture...
My cake was bought 2/12 and I haven't been back since.

The food is not worth the money, the service is good if you dont want to talk to them. I have been in there and seen them leave customers alone just because they didnt want to talk to them, ive seen them all hide in back and call for one another with excuses like they need help. they give prices for things one day and than change them the next. they dont post the prices at all causing you to assume your paying a flat rate for similar items. They had a guy working there that I dont see anymore which bothers me because now its an all woman staff that could care less on how your feeling. they lack the personal feel and a diverse staff. I ordered a cake once and it was such a mess to get what i wanted for my sons cake to the point i just said no more and was left with no option but to get one from dairy queen. I would never go here if it was the last bakery on this planet. Its over priced and bad service. Now i travel all the way down to Brady to go to Peter Sciortino's bakery and it is worth it. i recommend them for your baked goods.
