Bbq Revue, Cincinnati, Ohio Restaurant Details

Food:

Not real great. I liked the sauce that was about it. I tried this place after driving by and decided it looked good. The pig out front and all has never let me down for a great bbq place...until now.
Everyone raves about the brisket so I ordered it. It wasn't much different from my week-old, left-over chuck roast. It was dry and non-sensational. The slaw was really sweet and extra creamy, blah. My friend didn't like the mac & cheese at all. It was much darker yellow than the pic above. The people there seemed depressed or overworked or something. Didn't even get a shout of thanks as we left the place.

Updated 3 years later: I ended up marrying that friend I went with, so I have one good memory from this place. :)

Great food. BBQ and jumbalya both excellent. Also, many workers there for lunch... so you know its good! Fast service.

I love BBQ Revue. I've had it several times and it's perfect every time. I would even give BBQ revue the nod over Eli's. It's the best bbq in Cincinnati. Very reasonably priced and excellent quality.

I've had BBQ Revue more than a dozen times over the years and have never been disappointed. The brisket is the best around and their BBQ sauce compliments the brisket perfectly. The sides are amazing too (mac n' cheese OMG!).

Horrible the ribs taste like cracked pepper corn and a dirty grill got into a death match. The sauce tasted like tomato paste and tomato soup eloped and then took a bath.
