my girlfriend and i are locals, went there last week for a few drinks and when we were ready to leave the bartender was like "your tab is $40" we were both surprised to hear that amount, especially just an even $40. i asked for a print out and she said she couldnt give me one and i asked why it was so high, we had only had a few beers each, bud lights to be exact. she said "you had 15 beers". let me reassure you that we probably didnt even have half of that between the two of us, much less 15 just by myself. so at this point she started to get antsy to take payment and i was immediately leery to pay cash so i gave her my debit card. she comes back and says "sorry your card was declined i will need another payment, preferably cash." i said im sorry there is absolutely no way in hell my card was declined, especially only for the amount of $40, and on top of that today is payday so i know for a fact that cant be true!! she wouldnt run my card again so my girlfriend who was also leery to pay cash gave her card. hers "goes through", we tipped like we always do and left. im online the next day and see that my card did go through, and to top it off they ran it twice and my account was charged twice, as well as my girlfriend. needless to say we will NEVER be back and recommend anyone thats considering going and that has taken the time to read this also takes the time to watch out for this if you go to this establishment. i know not all bartenders do shady work, but i know this is definitely a scam that a lot of them run to make extra cash. try to NOT use cash, always ask for an itemized printed receipt before you pay, and if you use your card make sure youre only charged ONCE!! i hope this will help someone avoid getting ripped off like we did.

on friday june 7, 2013 me, my friend and my friends wife went to the pitbull toddler show. This bar is kind of rundown and hires bands on how many friends will come with them to the show, NOT ON HOW GOOD OR HOW COOL THEY ARE !!! just a warning !!! Makes no sense to me but we will still go there. However my friends wife caught a blonde petite dumb bartender trying to hit on her husband and then was very rude to his wife. This needs to be taken care of immediately and we will be contacting management.

Unfortunately Cuso's is the first "Nightclub" south of Clearwater Beach and the only one on Indian Rocks Beach, all the other drinking establishments are bars or restaurants.
The decor is filthy and extremely in need of an update, the bartenders all have a bad attitude and make weak drinks at tourist prices. On the weekends they have a cover charge to get in and have local rock and roll cover bands that mostly attract the biker crowd, which is fine if you like biker bars.
The food is typical bar food, greasy, fried and they close the kitchen early. Cuso's has two bars, one is air conditioned, indoors, smells like a toilet, very dim lit with a small dance floor, stage and has the only bathrooms. The other bar is semi-outdoors, it's under the roof but there are no walls or air conditioning, so in the hotter weather your forced to listen to a crappy band indoors or sweat at the outside bar.
Also, they don't open the indoor air conditioned bar until at night, so your forced to sit at the outdoor bar with no air conditioning during the hottest part of the day.
If your looking for a "Nightclub" where you can dance and have a good time I would look elsewhere, you'll waste your money at Cuso's and have a horrible time.

Food:

A not so upscale bar that draws several good bands and sometimes a biker crowd. Very poor bar food but nice cold beer.
