Amazing carnivorous feasts of French-accented Pacific NW cuisine come from rock-star chef Naomi Pomeroy's Concordia kitchen, where the uniquely Portland dining experience of prix fixe meals is delivered with impeccable service that's like a choreographed dance; diners on board with communal seating and no substitutions sum it up as costly, but perfect for a special occasion, adding that the Sunday brunch is the quintessence of indulgence.

I would not consider myself a foodie. I mean, yeah, I eat a lot, but in no way can I speak intelligently about the food I'm eating. My wife can, so she'd probably be better at this review.

With that said, I am a fan of prix fixe menus. I really enjoy putting myself in the chef's hands and letting them decide how the night is going to go. And of all the meals I've had in this fashion, Beast was the most amazing. We went here for our 5th anniversary, and it made our special occasion feel even more special. The food was fantastic, the wine was great, and I was able for one night to feel almost smart enough to say something interesting about the meal. However, the best I could come up with was, "Man, foie gras is pretty good, but I kinda feel bad about it, but *takes another bite* no, not really."

We will return, hopefully sooner than later.

Best food ever!
Steaks were perfect, a medium like we ordered.
The atmosphere was so romantic and special.
Don't forget the creme Bruegel... Wow.
The service was perfect and the chef was so nice :)

One of the best dining experiences of my life! From start to finish, the food was incredible. I loved the family style seating and ability to watch the chefs prep the food before our eyes. The pace of the meal was perfect, allowing me to savor each bite and sip. The menu and wine tasting offerings were on point. BEAST was the highlight of my Portland visit and it will be a dining experience I would won't soon forget.

Well........We just got home...sat at the "Chefs Table" which in my opinion is the best seat in the house if you can get it. You get to sit right next to the chef performing his wizardry right in front of you. It is like a show right off the food network. Amazing. I can not believe I have not heard of this place before...I am not going to do a long winded review about each item...it would be pages.... I am going to just tell you that you MUST experience this for yourself. The menu is posted each week, and it shows 6 courses....but it is not just 6 courses...just one of the plates has 9 mini courses of its own. Tonight we were able to experience over 20 to 30 unique flavor combinations at one sitting. Some were just jaw dropping good....others were good but not for me just because of me. I hope that makes sense.....each person will like different aspects of the meal because of such an enormous variety. When you sit down here you are getting on a roller coaster of flavor. Many items will leave you breathless, others will just satisfy (Because of personal preference)...My wife and I are still debating about what our favorite bites were. This is a 2 hour and 30 minute journey into some of the finest dining I have experienced in the NW. Yes it is $102 per person (Gratuity is Included in that price) I can tell you this....You will not be disappointed. Watch the menu each week, and then pull the trigger. We will go again and again.

Such an amazing brunch! I love the community tables and how everyone gets their meal at the same time!

Everything was good. And the menu changes. Definitely will return in the future.

The ladies running this place were so accommodating. We had some time to kill prior to our flight out and they let us leave our luggage there as we explored Alberta street and offered to call a cab after
