I love their fried catfish that is not filleted. This place has wonderful customer service and they always have customers dining inside with big smiles. Two thumbs up!

For years I've been hearing about this place and I FINALLY realized why I hadn't been in a hurry to go. Not as BEAUTIFUL as I anticipated. Went on Father's Day and expected to wait, but 45 minutes was ridiculous. When I finally got to the food line, I was even more disappointed. What TRUE soul food restaurant serves only DARK meat chicken? The other selections were Salmon, Beef Short Ribs, Cornish Hen, and Steak. The vegetable/side selections were decent, but NONE of the food was seasoned. The corn bread was soo hard that if I had thrown it at the window, it likely would have broken it. The best part of the experience was the Sweet Tea. I was born and raised in the South and if this is what Soul Food has come to, then we are in BIG trouble. I am all about patronizing OUR establishments, but the $34 I spent was clearly a donation. Not nearly a fair exchange. But we live and we learn and this was DEFINITELY a learning experience. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

The Soul Food gem of Atlanta! If you ever want to taste traditional African American cruisine, I'd highly suggest you stop here. I love sitting back listening to the wisdom of the elders that frequent this location. I've had so many laughs and great philisophical conversations at Beautiful Restaurant all while eating the BEST plate of oxtails!
