05/25/2015 4:42 pmTom (The Owner) and Chris Combs (manager?), where running this place like it was a community block party. It was great. The kids loved it (games, prize machines) and the grown ups had an even better experience (distracted and safe kids, beer, and beer.) I would HIGHLY recommend this place if you want a care free, sports loving experience. Everyone is super funny and friendly and the servers where very delightful and happy to serve us. |

11/15/2012 3:08 pmThe Northdale OWLS (Older, Wiser, Lively Seniors) love oour neighborhood Beef O Brady's. Tom is the best when it comes to supporting our community and the food & service is an outstanding value. I just wish the NHL would get the labor dispute settled so I can enjoy my TBL games at Beef's as well.... Marty & Vinny continue to age! |

09/02/2012 4:23 pmWings were very good. My only complaint is no hard liquor. How do you call yourself a sports bar without liquor? Not everyone drinks beer. |

05/28/2011 9:17 pmI've been to this Beef's lots of times, but my last experience was so awful that I will never return. I went to watch some soccer with a friend and, for reasons unknown, received the concentration camp treatment from a waitress that acted more like a prison warden. From the get-go, she made it perfectly clear from that we were not welcomed. Her attitude was one of complete disdain, of "whatever"; the kind of "take it or just get the eff out of the bar" approach that reeks of unfriendliness. As soon as she seated us she ran to complain to a co-worker that "she was about to quit". We had to ask her to select the right channel -even when she told us she knew we were there to watch soccer. Still she would not turn the volume up -even a little bit. I'm perfectly aware of how hard these guys lives are, taking on several awful customers through the day, but my friend and I were extremely courteous, and still got nothing in return. All the time we felt as if they were some unwritten rules about treating soccer fans: others were getting smiles and good attention; we barely received a couple of quick words. Was it because of the soccer? Was it because we spoke mainly in Spanish? Who knows. Whatever the reason, the only sure thing is that I won't return to that bar ever. |
